Powder coating provides a durable finish to metal products. The powder is applied electrostaticly and then cured in a 400°F oven to produce a thick, even coating. Powder coatings have extremely low volatile organic compounds (VOC), meaning it is safe and non-toxic to the environment.

Cerakote® is a thin-film ceramic coating manufactured by NIC Industries, Inc. that can be applied to metals, plastics, polymers, and wood. The proprietary formulation used for Cerakote enhances numerous performance properties, such as abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance, and hardness. Cerakote products utilize state-of-the-art technology.

Ceramic coating is great for exhaust systems since it gives thermal stability up to 2000°F. At Performance Powdercoating, we apply ceramic coatings on headers, mufflers and any other items that will see temperatures up to 2000°F. We can also apply interior thermal barriers for chrome pipes to prevent the chrome from turning blue.

We are able to coat firearms, including serialized parts and NFA (National Firearms Act) items.
